I really like the eye—whether it’s mine or someone else’s, I just really like the eye. It’s the window to the soul; you can learn a lot about someone by looking into it. Not only that, locking eyes with someone else establishes a connection that very likely says more than the mouth does. Eyes are just powerful as heck; depending on what you do with them, you can deliver messages of trust, creepiness, pain, joy, and pretty much anything else. Literary and idiomatic references also boost the coolness of the eye. Sauron had an eye.

Hmm, Not too many memories for this one…. Either they’re repressed or I really haven’t dressed up as a girl. Unless you count the ward talent show my sophomore year, where the young men “performed” a little something from South Pacific, wearing grass skirts and coconuts….
